“Hands On Learning For All” is a BCTEA Conference with workshops for Elementary, Middle and Secondary teachers of BC. This year it will be hosted at Chilliwack Secondary School. Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley has seen rapid growth in recent years and the Chilliwack school district continues to grow. The district has 5 secondary schools and 6 middle schools offering a variety of ADST programs. The staff at CSS look forward to hosting ADST educators from across the province and welcome all of you to this beautiful part of the province.

Interested in Presenting A Workshop– The conference committee will consider your Presenter Application Form and advise you accordingly (The conference committee is looking for a diverse selection of workshops that will engage the conference delegates). Presenters may offer two (2) workshop sessions to have the full conference fee waived or if presenting one session, half of the conference fee will be waived. Maximum one presenter/workshop will have their conference fee waived.
As per BCTEA policy, travel expenses are not covered and BCTEA membership cannot be waived.

Each School district is asked to provide a district rep person to attend the annual Technology Education Collaboration Session to learn the most current information concerning Technology Education, and to provide input to the BCTEA executive from their district.
If you are a District Rep or LSA president, please pre-register by contacting Peter Orlandi, to confirm your attendance at the session. It would be appreciated if you could do this by October 1st, 2024.
